Even though everything at the moment has been overshadowed by the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, downloadable content for Battlefield 3 is still rolling out. Today saw the release of the Aftermath expansion for Battlefield: Premium members on the PlayStation 3, offering 4 maps set in a post-earthquake landscape and priced at $14.99.
Aftermath will also include the mouth-watering crossbow that many are excited to get their hands on. A new game mode will also be included in Scavenger, so money for value. The launch also comes with a launch trailer, which Electronic Arts gave a detailed description of.
In Battlefield 3: Aftermath, players fight for supremacy amongst shattered streets and buildings across four earthquake ravaged maps. This launch trailer features footage from all four maps and features the new crossbow, vehicles, and the new Scavenger game mode where players armed only with a pistol must search the environment for more powerful weapons.
Xbox 360 and PC Premium subscribers can pick up Aftermath on December 4th, non-Premium PlayStation 3 users on December 11 and non-premium Xbox 360 and PC users a week later.
