The guys over at developer Ubisoft have announced a soon to release patch for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation that will see an end to the notorious save corruption bug that is baffling gamers. Many PlayStation Vita users have complained of their save files randomly getting wiped out, which obviously is very frustrating.
After some relentless follow ups from gaming site Joystiq, Ubisoft finally responded with a statement about the issue.
Our team is in the process of finalizing the first patch for Assassin’s Creed 3 Liberation. This will address the save game corruption issue that you asked about [previously]. We’ll have a better idea on the timing of the patch soon.
If you’re thinking about picking up the Vita title anytime soon, I would keep an ear to the ground for when the patch drops, to save you any save file issues.
