Developer Treyarch has released the first title update for the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II, with it comes some fixes for nagging issues gamers have experienced online. The update is similar to the PlayStation 3 update released recently, excluding the fixes for the connectivity problems that plagued gamers on the console.

Xbox 360 Patch now available!

Unfortunately no patch notes were released for the update but Treyarch’s Game Designer Director David Vonderhaar did reveal some key fixes via his Twitter account, you can view them below.

  • Escort Drone attacking from under the map
  • Dragonfire glitch that prevents its deployment for some players
  • FHJ-18 AA problems with leveling up
  • Theater Mode “UI error 226117”

If you haven’t received the option to download the update on your console yet then don’t panic, Vonderhaar also said, “Deployments like these are usually staggered over the course of a few hours. So hang tight. You’ll get it eventually.”

When the patch notes surface we will make sure to bring them to your attention, until then you can leave any thoughts you have in the comment section below and check out our Facebook page for more of today’s gaming news.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
