Google’s Maps App For iOS Devices Is Nearly Completed, Currently Testing Externally

There are still a large number of iOS users who aren’t satisfied with Apple’s decision to remove Google’s Map app, and replace it with an inferior map of their own. Fortunately however, the wait for a Native Google Maps app in iOS may not be too much longer if recent reports are accurate.

According to the Wall Street Journal, who obtain this information from “a person with direct knowledge of the matter, Google has distributed a test version of its new mapping app that will work on Apple’s iPhones to some individuals outside the company.” Stating further that, “Google has been putting the finishing touches on the app before submitting it for approval to the Apple iTunes store, this person said, though it’s unclear exactly when that will happen.”
