As we enter the beautiful month of November, the cold weather will give us even more of a reason to close the curtains, light the fire and throw on one of the many new games landing this month. One of those titles will undoubtedly be Hitman: Absolution, following the trials and tribulations of ice-cold killer Agent 47. With the series coming back from a long absence, developer IO Interactive will look to bring back the series great gameplay. The title’s audio however was the focus of a recently released dev diary showing how audio went into the game.
Thomas Bärtschi, audio director at IO Interactive explained,”The whole audio direction and the dramatic score part of the game has been a very strong focus from the beginning because we knew that a game that is so open-ended as a Hitman game, the player can always do whatever he wants or go in any direction and take on the game in any direction that he wants.”
If you’re not up to date with what Hitman: Absolution has to offer then you can check out a range of previews, from what disguises you can don, what weapons the game will feature and the 17-minute E3 demo that had everyone begging for more.
Hitman: Absolution will launch on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 20, make sure to let us know in the comment section below if you’re picking up the game. You can check out the dev diary itself below.
