Need For Speed: Most Wanted Coming To The Wii U, Just Not This Year
Racing fans are not shy to seeing Need for Speed games gracing their platforms yearly and this year is no change with Need for Speed: Most Wanted gearing up to hit shelves at the end of the month. We already know the game will launch for all platforms, including a mobile game, but there was no word if the title would land on Nintendo’s upcoming console the Wii U. According to the guys at Polygon, who recently talked to Electronic Arts, the racing giant will in fact be racing onto the Wii U, just not this year.
“We are very excited to deliver Need for Speed: Most Wanted on more platforms and to more gamers,” said an EA rep.
“Starting Oct. 30, Most Wanted will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Android and iOS. Then in 2013, Nintendo fans will be able to experience what it means to be Most Wanted amongst their friends on the Wii U.”
This just adds to the many big name titles hitting Nintendo’s Wii U console, not to mention the flurry of exciting games that will launch alongside the console on November 18th. EA unfortunately didn’t give a specific section of 2013 for the game’s release on the platform, so keep an ear to the ground, but you can take a guess it isn’t that far off.
