Another yearly edition of the Call of Duty franchise wouldn’t be complete without an outrageous live-action trailer. Like with last year’s installment Modern Warfare 3, Activision has released another to get fans ready for the release of Black Ops II, which hits stores on November 18. The trailer titled “Surprise” includes a host of big names from both the gaming and film industry taking the fight to each other, even Ironman himself Robert Downing Jr, who definitely has no problem bringing a jet to a gunfight.
It’s not just the man in the suit that features however, the likes of iJustine, Omar Sy, one of France’s top comedic actors and everyone’s favorite gunman FPS Russia also get in on the action. Activision also got the talents of big time director Guy Ritchie to oversee things.
What the trailer really does well however is show off all the great killstreaks we can expect when the game hits shelves, from the crazy suicidal Swarm planes to the nifty Hellstorm missile that sprouts baby missiles at the press of a button.
When we eventually get the chance to play with all these toys in November, it will no doubt bring truth to the trailer’s tagline, “There is a soldier in all of us”. You can check out the trailer for yourself below.
