The ill-mannered antics of household demon spawn Dante will be one of the many fun factors in this year’s DmC: Devil May Cry. With a new modern look for Dante. which has some of the series’ long running fans on the ropes, it will be interesting to see what people make of it come release. Fortunately, before that day eventually comes, many will have the chance to get a quick peek-a-boo of the title, as the release of a demo for consoles is coming soon.
Producer Alex Jones dropped the news at the New York Comic-Con, saying the demo will be coming to consoles at undisclosed date, but there is still no word on a PC version. According to Joystiq who talked to Jones, Mundus who we know as the main baddie from the first Devil May Cry title will control the underworld in DmC: Devil May Cry and will be accompanied by Vergil who Jones stated “will not be on the disc” as a playable character.
One good thing PC players can take away from what Jones said is that the PC version of DmC will run 60 FPS with enhancements, so maybe no love lost.
