Play Pre-Release Of Halo 4, Get Yourself Permanently Banned
Those thinking about joining the dark side of video gaming should take notice, as Microsoft is ready and willing to dish out the full force of the ban hammer to anyone caught playing the pre-released version of Halo 4. That’s right peeps, the software giant is giving anyone playing the version via Xbox Live a permanent ban, kissing all your online privileges goodbye.
It’s not known yet if the campaign mode of the game is also playable in the pre-release version, but a spokesperson for Microsoft has stated to Game Informer that, ”We have seen the reports of ‘Halo 4′ content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation.”
If you decided to take the risk and play the game then you might have received an e-mail from the Xbox Live Enforcement Team, the official wielder of said ban hammer, telling you of your permanent ban. Videos and pictures of Halo 4 released by those who played it have been removed frantically by Microsoft to make sure their marketing campaign for the game stays on track.
We will keep you updated as the story develops, so make sure to keep checking back to the site and our Facebook page for more of today’s gaming news.
