Rayman Legends Delayed Until 2013

One of the most anticipated games due for release on the Wii U is Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends. Following up the extremely well received Origins, the next Rayman game is currently exclusive to Nintendo’s platform and was previously listed as a launch game for the console, at least in Europe.

Now it seems that the game will be delayed worldwide until the early part of next year. Ubisoft released a statement confirming the delay, saying; “Rayman Legends will launch worldwide in the first quarter of 2013. We’re happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations.”

How do any of you potential Wii U owners feel about the delay? Were you hoping to get stuck into some Rayman action before the holidays, or will you be too busy with the New Super Mario Bros U to care? Let us know below.
