Paper Mario: Sticker Star Gets European Release Date

Great games continue to be released for the 3DS, with the console going from strength to strength. One of the upcoming heavy hitters which previously had a vague ‘Holiday 2012’ launch penciled in for Europe was Paper Mario: Sticker Star, but the game now has a formal release date.

The 2D (ish!) RPG had previously been confirmed as being launched on November 11th in North America, but European Mario fans had to wait until the Nintendo Direct briefing yesterday before their release date was confirmed, which is now known to be December 7th.

The Nintendo Direct showing also demonstrated a few new sticker based attacks including thumb tacks and a paper goat, which will form an important part of the games mechanics. A few weeks to wait yet then if you are eager to get stuck into a lengthy Mario adventure, but at least it will be out within plenty of time for Christmas for those of you planning on finding the game in the bottom of your stocking this year.
