Gmail Turns On The Switch For Search Within Your Email Attachments

Share And Comment

Gmail has finally made it easier for users to search their email attachments. A feature that has been available in Yahoo and Outlook mail services for some time, allows users to quickly find attachments that are buried within your ever growing inbox. Here’s how it’s done:

To find messages that have attachments, search for has:attachment and add some keywords to your query. To restrict your search to PDF files, search for has:attachment filename:pdf.

So give this try and let us know how good your results are. It just baffles us all on why Google took so long to include this in Gmail.
