Call Of Duty Elite Gets A Fresh Coat Of Paint

The folks over at Activision have decided to give the highly popular Call Of Duty Elite service a bit of a facelift and have launched a newly redesigned website. Things have been renamed, moved and altogether removed. Check out the full list of changes below.

Everything is now accessible from the new hover-over top menu, allowing you to navigate the site with ease and quickly get to the page you want. When you are not logged in to ELITE, you will be taken to the News page featuring the latest info on Events, DLCs, and more. Once you’ve logged in, you will land on the new player home page, which shows your Game Progress, featured items such as Your Recent Matches and Custom Classes, and links to Call of Duty News and Events.

Hover over Browse and use the menu at the top of the page to access all the different facets of ELITE:

CAREER info has been separated by game and can be found under each game title header in the menu. Here you can check out your Career Summary and Recent Matches, tweak your Custom Classes, track Challenges and Leaderboards, and view your Weapon Performance.

CONNECT is now called Clan HQ. Clan HQ shows all your Clan stats, including Clan Competitions, Rewards, and Clan XP.

COMPETE has been changed to Competitions, and displays Events, Clan Challenges, Clan Operations, and Lone Wolf Operations.

IMPROVE links are now located under each game title header in the menu, and breaks down Maps, Weapons and Lethal/Tactical items, Attachments and Proficiencies, Perks, Strike Packages, Deathstreaks, and Game Modes.

My HQ is your hub for finding Game Summaries, the Vault, Recent Badges, and your Feed, which includes Notifications and Invites. ELITE TV remains ELITE TV, and Theater mode can be accessed by clicking the green Theater filter in the upper-left portion of the screen.

So there you have it folks, the all new COD Elite. This doesn’t come as a big surprise that the would want to update Elite ahead of the release of Call Of Duty Black Ops II. Check out the redesign and the come back and let us know what you think of it in the comments section.
