Halo has long been the ‘forerunner’ (pun entirely intended!) for XBOX gaming, and its blend of epic single player experience and multi-player addiction has fuelled many a 360 gaming session over the years. It’s only recently however with Halo: Reach that the visuals of the game have shone above most of the other shooters available on the system. As good as Halo 3 and ODST were, no-one could really say that they looked better than Gears of War for example. Halo 4 on the other hand looks utterly amazing, as could be seen by the outstanding E3 demo. In the weeks coming up to the release of the game, the official website has shown off some new screenshots.
As you can see they look particularly impressive which makes us wonder how the series will look on the next generation of XBOX hardware, which is presumably where we will see Halo 5. In the meantime however check out the rest of the screenshots on the game’s website, and any XBOX gamers make sure you set November 6th in your calendars! Oh, and don’t worry when you see the picture of the Flood – they are strictly a multiplayer mode only this time around! The screenshots on the site show off a few of the different multiplayer modes in the game, as well as from two campaign missions, and the Spartan Ops mode.
