Resident Evil 6 On 360 To Take Up Two Disc
One of the main benefits of the PlayStation 3 in comparison to the XBOX 360 in the eyes of its fans is the blu-ray format. Not only allowing HD boxed films to be watched on the system, but increasingly complex games are still able to fit on one disc, whereas some titles like La Noire on the 360 are spread over multiple discs. Another upcoming game to be split in this way is Resident Evil 6, kind of.
Interestingly, it seems that the second disc will only be relevant with the European version of the game and even then will only need to be actually used if your system supports a language other than English. The content on the extra disc will contain support for multiple languages and other necessities for the various European territories. In other words, all of the speech samples in the game using other languages will be stored on this second disc. Good news if you are a French or Spanish gamer no doubt, but for us English-speaking Europeans, kind of a waste of a disc.
The disc won’t need to be changed over during gameplay as in Rage or LA Noire, and of course all of the content is included on one blu-ray disc for the PS3 version of the game.
