PlayStation Store To Get ‘New Look’ Come October
The PlayStation Store has always been the hub for all your gaming needs, be it downloadable content or the latest apps. So it’s not just the PlayStation 3 console itself that is getting a new look this October, the PlayStation Store will also receive a well needed makeover. To coincide with the release of the new PlayStation 3 model, Sony has decided to spruce up its marketplace to give everything that new out of the box feel.
“To tie in with the launch, PlayStation Store for PS3 is set to get a new look from October 2012 too, making it even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa,” said Sony via their website.
Though change can sometimes lead to better things, I always found the PlayStation Store easy to use. With a new layout it might bring some new features, maybe some sorting options to keep track of what you buy or the option to comment on purchased items. Sony could just play it safe and add a new layer of paint however, it will be interesting to see what eventually comes of it.
Do you like the way the PlayStation Store is now or would you welcome a change? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below and make sure to check out our Facebook page for more of today’s gaming news.
