PlayStation Plus Coming To PlayStation Vita This November
With the PlayStation Vita still relatively new to the gaming scene, many of the normal features we see on the PlayStation 3 are just now slowly linking up with the handheld. This November will see the PlayStation Plus service come to the PlayStation Vita and with it a host of features to make your experience on the handheld on par with the console version.
PlayStation 3 users who already purchased PS Plus will be happy to hear that they will not have to pay extra to have the service on their Vita, same going to any newcomers. So what exactly can we expect with the Vita version?
PlayStation Plus Vita Features:
- Games: Plus members get to play the full versions of designated content for PS Vita available on PlayStation Store as long as their membership is effective, at no extra cost.
- Discounts: Access exclusive discounts on certain PS Vita titles.
- Online Game Save: Upload game save data for compatible games to Online Cloud Storage, offering up to 1GB of space.
- Automatic content downloads and updates: PS Vita will automatically download designated game demos and game updates, and also download system software updates.
- Automatic Trophy sync: PS Vita will automatically start-up at a designated time to sync Trophy information across PlayStation Network servers.
This adds to the flurry of PlayStation news hitting the web the last two days, with the announcement of the new PlayStation 3 slim model and the ‘new look’ PlayStation Store coming our way this October, Sony has been more than busy!
