PlayStation Network Down For Maintenance September 10
The PlayStation Network will be going under the knife this Monday for some scheduled maintenance Sony has announced. Some of the services will be unavailable for up to 14 hours, with the downtime beginning at 8am to 10pm PST (11am to 1am EST). As usual, if you have signed into the PlayStation Network within the last week or two, you will still be able to play your favorite titles online, but will not have access to other online services.
“If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to get access to the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to get access to the Network during this maintenance window, said Sony.
The announcement was made through the US PlayStation Forums, which is unusual, considering they always post news on maintenance issues on the front page of the Official PS Blog.
Anyway, make sure you sign in before Monday comrades, if you haven’t in the last two weeks and let us know your thoughts on the story in the comment section below .
