Zombie fans waiting for the Resident Evil 6 demo to land won’t have to wait much longer. The guys at developer Capcom announced recently that the highly anticipated Resident Evil 6 demo will land on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this September 18th. This demo will defer to the one released with Dragon’s Dogma on Xbox 360 and feature brand new content, allowing gamers to sample all three of the game’s main campaigns.
Players can decide to either go solo or partner up with a friend via online co-op. If you sample the Leon S. Kennedy mission, you will dive into the “dark corridors and moonlit grounds of Ivy University, swarming with the victims of the latest bioterrorist attack.” If you pick Jake’s mission you will be trusted into the “neon-lit streets of Lanshiang as he and Sherry Berkin fight off the J’avo, including their fully mutated forms.” If they don’t rock your boat, you can play Chris’ mission, as “him and Piers Nivans head with fellow BSAA team members to the war-ravaged streets of Edonia.” So plenty of content to make that decision easier when the game finally releases.
From today, PlayStation 3 Dragon’s Dogma owners can download the exclusive demo previously only available for Xbox 360 in the PlayStation Store.
Resident Evil 6 is available to buy on October 2nd, with a PC version to soon follow. Let us know in the comment section below if you will be picking up the title.
