We recently brought you news on the pricey yet awesome looking Collector’s Edition and not so awesome but still worthy Hardened Edition developer Treyarch will roll out with upcoming futuristic shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The giant Care Package replica will set the gamer back a cool $179.99/£159.99 come release and will probably take two people to carry home from your local retailer, no kidding people … it’s big! The goodies will include the MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone(as seen in the game), the game’s Official Soundtrack, Challenge Coins that hold the code to all in-game content available with the editions and much more. The Hardened Edition will give gamers roughly the same, save the drone, but cost less than half price at $79.99/£69.99.
The guys at Treyarch gave the fans even more of a treat recently by releasing through YouTube the Collector’s Edition unboxing video, with Studio Head, Mark Lamia and Game Design Director, David Vonderhaar – giving the skinny on all the great stuff on offer. After Modern Warfare 3 skipped on the Prestige Edition last year, it wont take much to get fans of the series excited. Still no word on Elite however, as it doesn’t feature in either the Collector’s or Hardened Edition’s, we will have to just wait and see what Lamia says about that subject in the future.
Until that information lands, make sure to check out the unboxing video below and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below as always or check out our Facebook Page for more gaming news.
