Modern Warfare 4 Details Leaked By Insider At Neversoft [RUMOR]
Better get that salt shaker ready again people, as a possibly major leak has hit the web concerning the could be next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 4. According to an “unknown source” at Activision-owned Neversoft who posted the details on the Se7enSins website, Modern Warfare 4 will have many new features, including HALO (High Altitude-Low Opening) jumps and Drone Surveillance.
“It’s another Modern Warfare game. There’s something called, ‘Drone Surveillance’. They’re working on ‘HALO’ jumps (High Altitude; Low X.) There is a level under ice. There is cloaking tech. something called a ‘Dominator UAV’,” read the supposed leak.
HALO jumps aren’t uncommon in action games and would fit in nicely with the war scenario Modern Warfare brings to the table. The cloaking tech is a page straight from the Ghost Recon playbook however and would be a serious change from previous installments if it does feature. As for the Dominator UAV mentioned, this is indeed a real drone manufactured by a company based in Israel and has been in service since 2009.
Other than that not much more useful info was spilled, if Modern Warfare 4 is indeed on the cards at Neversoft, it will be interesting to see what direction they take the series and if they will follow in Treyarch’s footsteps and jolt the story into the futuristic setting.
