Over 100 PSOne Classics Set To Arrive On PSN Next Week For The PS Vita
The PS Vita is very impressive for a handheld console and its gaming library is set to grow, with over 100 PSOne games arriving next week for download on the PlayStation Network. The news was announced at Sony’s GamesCom conference earlier this month and is a much-requested feature amongst fans. The functionality will arrive with the Vita firmware 1.80 on August 28th, which also includes Cross Controller mode, playlists, rear touch pad support for the web browser, and additional home screen button controls.
Classic games such as Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy VII are currently available with it being rumored that Sony is going to add new classics to the collection periodically. I have a PS Vita, but I only have two games (both completed) and so it is hardly ever used. This functionality can only be good for the Vita, but what do you think?
