Bringing you news from that other football game dominating the industry, Pro Evolution 2013 (PES 2013), developer¬†Konami has revealed that at least 150 licensed teams will feature in the footie game, a major step up from last year’s title. The game will see the Spanish league entirely licensed for the first time, as well as all the clubs from the Italian’s Serie A and that’s not all we will see.

Taking it to Fifa!

You will also be able to pick from a range of individually licensed teams with many available, some of the big names are:

  • Manchester United
  • Bayern Munich
  • FC Porto
  • AEK Athens
  • Galatasaray
  • Istanbul
  • Shahktar Donetsk
  • FC Kopenhagen
  • Zenit St Petersburg
  • CSKA Moscow
  • RSC Anderlecht
  • Dinamo Kyiv
  • Dinamo Zagreb

The game will also see the addition of 17 licensed teams if the global stage is more to your liking, with England, Italy, Germany and France among the chosen few. Konami has also revealed that the Champions League and Europe League competitions will feature, with the developer extending its exclusive agreement with UEFA for their use.

So plenty on the agenda, the more licensed teams that make it into the fray each year, the closer the series can come to being level on par with its main rival FIFA. PES 2013 will hit stores sometime in September, so mark those calendars.

Make sure to let us know in the comment section if you’re picking it up PES 2013 or head on over to our Facebook Page and discuss it there.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
