Counter-Strike: Global Offensive To Get Zombie Mod Upon Launch
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is set to launch next week and when it does there will be a zombie mod available for it from the word “go”. Valve announced that the mod is in collaboration with a team at Plaugefest.com and can be obtained specifically on the PC from August 21st. We have all seen the success the zombie mods can achieve (DayZ anyone?) and it will be interesting to see if this mode can achieve similar things.
A small blog post on the official Counter-Strike site said that this would be the first of many mods for the game. “It was important to us as we developed CS:GO to make sure it was as moddable and extensible as any CS game,” the post read. It continued: “So this is just one of the many mods that will be available in the coming months.”
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is out on August 21st for PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac and will feature new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.
