After Borderlands made an impact no one saw coming, a lot of anticipation is behind the follow-up Borderlands 2 and what it will offer fans of the series, new and old. Like the first Borderlands, weapons will play a big part in the story and the fun you will have using them, so 2K Games and Gearbox Software have gone and released videos giving us a glimpse of some hardware we can expect in Borderlands 2.

Borderlands 2 … Out to impress once again!

Either it be ‘Maliwan’, ‘Tediore’ or  ‘Vladof’, the trailers below will let us in on who makes what guns for Pandora, the world many gamers will soon infest.

The Tediore weapons will come in handy for those who hate the waiting time while reloading. That’s right folks, the everyman’s weapon manufacturer will specialize in faster reloading for the impatient, don’t want to be getting caught on the battlefield defenseless do we! Check out the 50’s American style trailer below.

The Mailwan weapon manufacturer will bring a more elemental feel to the weapon you choose, either it be shocking an opponent or delivering some explosive damage, the Maliwan class adds a bit of variety. The trailer below will explain it further.

This weapon manufacturer is for those who like to go Rambo once in a while. With a very high rate of fire for occasional multi-kills and extended magazines for longer killing sessions, the Vladof class sounds like a safe bet. Be wary though, that much firepower will lower the overall precision of the weapon you use.

The  manufacturers seen above wont be the only weapon makers the game will include. Expect to see some oldies, such as Torgue, S&S Munitions, Jakobs, Hyperiod, Dahl, and Atlas. All these cool weapons mixed in with the revamped AI will give plenty to get excited for, so mark the calendar and get ready for some grizzly action.

Borderlands 2 will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on September 18th, let us know in the comment section below if you’re picking up the shooter, or head over to our Facebook page and discuss it with us there.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
