Diablo III Starter Edition Now Available To All For Free
Diablo III sold extremely well upon its release in May of this year, but in case you have yet to play the game, Blizzard has made the Diablo III Starter Edition available to you for free. It will allow you to battle all the way up to the Skeleton King boss in Act I, and your character to level up all the way to level 13. To take advantage of this Starter Edition you don’t even need to buy the game, which is what you would have to do with some other titles.
Blizzard has explained the three ways to obtain the game, which you can read below:
- Log in to your existing Battle.net account at http://www.battle.net, and sign up for the Diablo III Starter Edition through the “Your Game Accounts” section.
- Create a new Battle.net account here, and the Diablo III Starter Edition license will be added to your account automatically.
- Grab the Diablo III game disc from a friend, install the game, and then log in with your Battle.net account. The Diablo III Starter Edition will be added to your account automatically.
So there we have it. I’m off to download this and see what all the fuss is about. By the way, the Battle.net website has an extensive FAQ section about the Diablo III Starter Edition, which you can view here.
