Like nearly all games today, the multiplayer mode is where developers get creative and try to outdo themselves from their last outing. Developer Ubisoft has released a trailer which gives us a glimpse at the Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer modes up close with two new modes making their debut in the game.

Just chilling until October comes

The two new modes, titled Domination and Wolf Pack, with the second sounding extra beastly, will give fans of the game more variety while playing online. Domination works like it does in most online team based games, an area will have a flag and teams of four must capture and defend it while racking in the points. Wolf Pack mode works a bit different however, with you and another friendly online gamer teaming up to hunt down an enemy AI. These new modes will mix in with Artifact Assault, Team Deathmatch, Wanted, Manhunt and Capture the Flag – other modes seen in the game’s main menu.

The Assassin’s Creed multiplayer has increasingly become a bigger strength with each title released and is taking a big leap this time around with the new modes and a better item unlocking system promised. Add that to the new polished graphics and closer attachment to the main storyline, AC III is one you don’t want to miss.

Make sure to check out the trailer below and let us know if you will be playing the Assassin’s Creed III multiplayer this coming October, or head on over to the rustle and bustle of our Facebook page to chat there.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
