Battlelog Finally Gives You Control Over Loadouts

In case you hadn’t noticed, since its latest update Battlefield 3’s Battlelog has gotten some new tricks, now giving players the ability to customize their loadouts via browser and then apply it to their in-game set up (something COD Elite has had for a while). In addition, you can copy a friend’s loadout and “borrow” it for yourself if you like. In an interesting twist, you can pull of the copy move even if your friends play on a different console as it’s integrated to work between PS3, 360 and PC. Once you have picked your weapon, sidearm, gadgets and camo, you can instantly jump in to the game and start your game with the loadout you picked in Battlelog. You can find this new feature in the menu row on your profile page. Oh yeah, vehicles upgrades get the same treatment.

battleog-loadoutWhile this might not be big news to COD Elite players who have had the feature for some time, for Battlefield 3 players this is big news. So, who’s had a chance to try it out? Let us know what you think in the comments.
