Sony To Announce Two New Titles And Show Off Vita Call Of Duty At Gamescom [RUMOR]
In other Gamescom news today, various websites including Every Eye, PlayStation Universe and Play Front are reporting that details of Sony’s line-up for the show are being leaked, and there are a few treats in store for PlayStation gamers.
With Nintendo and Microsoft choosing to stay absent from Cologne, the floor will belong to Sony (excusing third-party wares shown on competing consoles of course) and the company looks set to take full advantage of that fact. In addition to showing off the latest games that are already known to us such as Assassin’s Creed III, The Last of Us and PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, we are apparently also going to see a few surprises unveiled.
According to the various websites mentioned, Sony will be showing off Call of Duty Black Ops: Declassified for Vita either at their press briefing, on the show floor or both. In addition to this we will probably be seeing two all new games. According to rumor, the first of these new games will be from a Japanese studio (so why not unveil it at Tokyo Game Show next month?) and the other may be a new PlayStation Move franchise.
So do you guys have any ideas what these two new titles could be? Vita certainly needs new titles and Call of Duty could be the system selling FPS that Resistance: Burning Skies failed to deliver. Either way we will find out when Gamescom starts on August 15th.
