Battlefield 3 Premium Members Will Not Inherently Have Access To The Battlefield 4 Beta
The official confirmation of a Battlefield 4 beta appeared via a Medal of Honor: Warfighter pre-order offer. And EA did confirm that there would be other ways for players to be part of the beta, which didn’t require a copy of their latest FPS. While details about other ways to participate in the beta have not been forthcoming, it was presumed by quite a few people that being a Battlefield 3 premium member would give you access. EA however, says differently.
It is being reported on mp1st.com that a fan asked the official Battlefield Twitter account about whether premium members will definitely be able to access the beta. The reply was: “Premium members will not have access to the Beta for Battlefield 4, but there are certainly other ways to get it!” Continuing on the representative said, “there will be other ways, but at this time that (the Medal of Honor: Warfighter pre-order) is the only way to get it.”
It is worth noting this news is not 100% confirmed by EA, despite it coming from an official account. So be patient and hopefully EA will clarify the news soon. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is due to be released in late October of this year with the Battlefield 4 beta occurring around the same time in 2013.
