Since the miniature version of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies released for iOS devices back in December, it has gotten a positive response from zombie fans. The app already bolsters many maps to eradicate the undead horde, but Activision considers it necessary to add another Black Ops zombie classic to the list, with ‘Call of the Dead’ making the cut this time around.
The maps inclusion is available as a free update and was first announced through Activision’s Dan Amrich’s Twitter page, before showing up on the iTunes store. The Call of the Dead map won’t be like the one we all love from the console and PC versions, with the Director’s Cut version replacing, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo, Robert Englund, and Michael Rooker, for zombie veterans Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, Takeo Masaki, and Edward Richtofen.
With update 1.3.0 also comes new weapons in the form of the V-R11 and the Semtex mine, along with all new achievements and the Deadshot Daquiri Perk-a-cola, so you’re well-equipped. Some optimizations and fixes have also been incorporated into this update to give you a smoother gaming experience, so be thankful. Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is available to buy from the iTunes store for $6.99. Let us know your thoughts on the update in the non-flesh eating comment section below!
