While many Android owners are not so lucky when it comes receiving the latest Android update for their devices, those that have the Nexus S can tell a different story. Announced via the Google Nexus +page, it was revealed that the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update would begin rolling out to Nexus S devices on a “number of carriers”. Among the carriers are “T-Mobile, H3G, O2, Rogers as well as Vodafone in most countries”. These updates should have already hit a number of devices, and the announcement does state that there are “more to come”. So don’t sweat too much if you’re not on the list this time around.
Android 4.1 will give users speed improvements allowing for fewer lags when navigating, as well as a host of new features such as voice search and Google Now. Check out the video below, and let us know whether or not the update has hit your Nexus S.
