Co-Op Multiplayer Mode “Wolf Pack” Announced For Assassin’s Creed III

Assassin’s Creed III will feature a brand new multiplayer co-op mode called “Wolf Pack” according to Ubisoft, who announced the news at Comic Con San Diego. Bearing minor similarities to ‘Horde’ mode, you and up to three friends assassinate (obviously) NPC targets over 25 sequences. The aforementioned sequences increase in difficulty with the NPC’s being able to set traps, gang up and fight back in a bid to avoid death. This already sounds great, but the NPC have one more trick to use in order to try and catch you and your friends out.

This looks like it could be one of the most fun modes in Assassin’s Creed III

Those meddling kids pesky NPC’s will travel with other regular NPC’s that look identical, with the aim of getting you to attack the wrong target. If this should happen, then synchronization points are decreased. I have to say that I’m not the biggest fan of the other multiplayer modes in previous Assassin’s Creed games, but this looks like it could be a very fun mode indeed.

What do you think of this news and do you look forward to playing it? Please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
