Metal Gear Solid 4 Re-Release To Offer Full Install Option

Share And Comment

You probably recently heard the news that Metal Gear Solid 4 would be receiving trophy support via a patch timed to coincide with the release of a new budget version of the game. To go along with that we now know that along with the chance to hear that digital ping whilst fighting gorgeous women with psychological issues, you will also be able to install the entire game to your hard drive.

The lengthy install times at the beginning of each act of the game (remember watching Snake smoking for what seemed like hours?) were one of the only bugbears of the original game, so the option to do away with them entirely and play the game without annoying interruptions is a nice one.

Although the trophy support is being added to all versions of the game via the patch, it is currently unknown whether this install option will be the same, or if it is limited to the new budget version of Metal Gear Solid 4. We will let you know as soon as we receive any more news.
