If you have never heard of Angry Birds then surely you must have been living under a rock for the last few years. On Mars. A strategy-slingshot type game, it has become massively successful on every format it has been released on, and that success looks set to continue later this year when Angry Birds Trilogy is released for Xbox 360, PS3 and 3DS.
The game will contain the levels for the original game, plus Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons. It will also use the capabilities of every format it is released for, featuring Kinect, PS Move and Street Pass functionality. Although it will be more expensive than the versions currently gracing the App Store and Google Play store amongst others, according to Rovio’s Petri Jarvilehto it will be the definitive option for fans saying; “You can think of the game as the ultimate collector’s edition. There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen.”
