Want To Have Your Likeness As A Max Payne 3 Multiplayer Avatar?

Everybody dreams of being their gaming heroes, I wouldn’t mind stepping into the shoes of any gaming character for a day, it’s about being apart of something bigger. Earlier this year before the release of Max Payne 3, Rockstar Games wanted to make this a reality for gamers by hosting a Twitter contest, with the winners having their likeness immortalized into one of eight Max Payne 3 multiplayer gang characters. Rockstar will be giving fans one more chance to feature in the game as a Max Payne 3 multiplayer avatar, in one of the game’s upcoming DLC packs this Fall.

Guess Who – Max Payne Edition

So how do you get your mug into the game? Very simple, all you have to do is join any of the upcoming Social Club Multiplayer Event’s Rockstar will be hosting over the rest of July, the games will be played across Free-Aim and Soft Lock game modes, with all platforms eligible. Just make sure you have your Xbox or PlayStation account linked to the Social Club or you won’t be entered. The full schedule list for the events can be viewed in the image below.

Two times a week, for the next four weeks, a “Social Club Event Playlist” appear in the Max Payne 3 Multiplayer menus, playing a full game will be your entry to the contest, putting you in the pot to be picked. Each week a handful of gamers will then be emailed and asked to submit photos of themselves, which Rockstar will go through and consider who will make it into the game. If you do get selected, make sure to respond to the email within 24 hours or you could lose your chance. If you don’t get picked in the first week, don’t give up hope, you can enter again the following week by entering the next scheduled session.

Not many games give this chance, so make sure to get on when the time comes, I know I will be. Max Payne 3 is available now for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
