More Halo 4 “Spartan Ops” Details Revealed

Halo 4 is looks set to continue on the Halo legend despite developer Bungie’s departure from the series, and more information has been released about the interesting Spartan Ops mode within the game. The information came in the form of an interview with developer 343’s David Berger and Kevin Franklin and appears in the same week as the news that the multiplayer element of Halo 4 will require a monster 8GB install.

The best news is that it won’t cost you any extra money

Berger and Franklin said that the Spartan Ops mode will allow the studio to “push the fiction forward after the launch of the game” with the episodic mission taking place around “six months after the events of the campaign”. It will not cost any extra to play Spartan Ops as it is included in the price of the game and will be distributed in the form of five missions a week with a CG cut-scene.

It all sounds good to me but what do you think about Halo 4 and all of its so-far announced features? Please leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
