First Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD DLC Confirmed

Every year the ‘Summer of Arcade’ promotion on Xbox Live provides some high-profile downloadable games for your enjoyment. This year is no different, with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD kicking things off in style on July 18th.

Essentially an HD repackage of the levels and scenarios from the first couple of games in the series, Activision has also announced that future DLC will provide content sourced from later games, the first being Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3.

Although the full content for the DLC has yet to be confirmed, we do know that it will cost $5, be released around a month or so after the game itself launches, and will feature the airport level from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3. It is also likely that content from other games in the series will also be made available in the near future and that all of this DLC will be available for PS3 when it is released on PSN following the Xbox Live timed exclusivity.

Are there any specific levels you want to see from your mis-spent youth ? Personally my only involvement with the series (aside from owning the original on NGAGE – yes, I bought one) was a few frustrating but rewarding weeks spent with T.H.U.G so I wouldn’t mind some DLC based around the expansive levels in that game, but what do you guys think?
