Telltale Games has finally confirmed that the second episode of their The Walking Dead Video game, Starved For Help, will hit Xbox 360 today for 400 MS Points. Unfortunately and for reasons unknown to us, PS3 ($4.99) and PC will have to wait a few more days as the game won’t be available on those platforms until Friday, except in Europe where the date is still to be announced. I guess it will give all us fans something to do for the weekend.
I’ve written extensively about the fact that if they continue to have such long gaps between episodes they risk alienating players to the point where they lose interest. I really hope they find a way to reduce the gap between episodes, otherwise I’m not sure the game can sustain its momentum. To be honest, it might have done so already considering the fact that unless you bought the Season Pass it’s probably not even on your radar anymore.
Episode 2: Starving for Help picks up three months after the events of Episode 1 and is filled with choices that are promised to be even more brutal and gut-wrenching than he first.
Hit up the comments and let us know what you think? Are you still excited about The Walking Dead or has the long gap watered down your enthusiasm?
