Gran Turismo 5 is set to get some new DLC today with The Twin Ring Motegi Pack and the Scion FR-S ‘12 being available for racing fans to download. The DLC is part of the PlayStation Store update this week and will no doubt be greatly received by Gran Turismo 5 fans. Even better news is that the Scion FR-S ‘12 is free and the Twin Ring Motegi Pack is only $5 so you don’t have to break the bank for this DLC. I’ll explain them in a little more detail so you know precisely what you are going to get:

Very nice. Unlike the actual car, this one is free is free to own.

Twin Ring Motegi Pack – (2 tracks, 4 layouts)

The Twin Ring Motegi is a racing circuit located in Japan that boasts both an oval and road course. The oval is mainly used as the stage for American motorsports, while the road course is used for races like the Super GT and Formula Nippon. As well as the two aforementioned tracks, the pack also includes the West and East courses that are formed by separating the first and latter half of the road course.

Scion FR-S ’12
The Scion FR-S ’12 is a sports car (front engine, rear wheel drive) that features “a 2-liter horizontally opposed engine that gives it a very low center of gravity and great weight distribution, and the car is specifically designed throughout to provide driving pleasure”. Apparently it is great for learning sports driving techniques so if you still have mastered them yet, this is the car for you.

So there we are. More DLC for you to enjoy and not too expensive to get so what are you waiting for?

I'm a big gaming fan who has been playing games since ever since Pokemon Yellow was released in the year 2000. I'm just glad that there are decent rugby games on the PS3 now after years of nothing. I need another Uncharted game...NOW!!!!!
