If you have played Black Ops, then you are well aware of the pint-sized multiplayer map known as Nuketown. Many people (me included) have spent hours playing the map, due to its small size, made it easier to rack up those all important experience points. According to sources roaming around the web, the classic multiplayer map might be making its way into Black Ops II as ‘Nuketown 2025’, in a pre-order offer, with all the futuristic renovations.
According to MP1st, many Nuketown 2025 pre-order bonus posters for Black Op II have been showing up in certain retailers saying, if you pre-order the upcoming futuristic shooter from GAME UK, you will receive the multiplayer map along with. Call Of Duty is not known for their pre-launch map bonuses, so this is a welcome sight for future installments. One of the posters uploaded by Steven Douglass to XGZ read:
Pre-Order Call of Duty: Black Ops II now and receive the Nuketown 2025 bonus multiplayer map for free. Relive the close quarters chaos of this classic fan-favorite map, reimagined in a visionary depiction of the model home of the future.
If you’re living in the US, you’re probably thinking “What the hell, what about us”, well GameStop (US) usually announces these bonuses as part of their pre-order July promotion on July 1st, so keep your eyes open for that. Hopefully we will see some screenshots in the coming months. Black Ops II will be available for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 13.
