Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Coming To PS3 And PS Vita
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita towards the end of this year according to a post on the Official PlayStation Blog. The game will feature Sonic (obviously) alongside a cast of various SEGA All-Stars who will compete in races across land, air and water in a variety of different vehicles that can change from a car to a plane to a boat. This means that the races will be very interesting to say the least.
The game is a follow-up to its predecessor, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, but as previously mentioned the characters will have their own unique transforming vehicles that are designed to take advantage of the ever-changing terrain. Aside from Sonic, some of the other characters on the starting grid include SEGA gaming legends Dr. Eggman and AiAi who are joined by some newcomers including Gilius Thunderhead of Golden Axe and Vyse of Skies of Arcadia.
The game was shown at E3 recently with three levels being available for play and they were: Dragon Canyon (based on Panzer Dragoon), Temple Trouble (based on Super Monkey Ball), and Adder’s Lair (based on Golden Axe). This looks like a really interesting game and different from the type of racing games I usually play. I will definitely be checking this out when it is released.
