Do you guys remember when we told you about the Mass Effect: Rebellion pack before it was officially announced? At the time a Reddit user set off the fervor when he pretty much exactly detailed the Mass Effect: Rebellion Pack a full three weeks before Sony’s Hong Kong website outed it. At this point I would say that this gives him a bit of credibility and he’s back again it seems with new details on Mass Effect 3: Earth, the upcoming multiplayer extension and some generally details about the “Extended Cut” DLC.
According to Reddit user derptemp6698:
The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake! Mass Effect 3™: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features 3 new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol, and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow, and Fury!
He also mentioned the “Extended Cut” DLC, the one that provides the “additional detail” to the events at the end of Mass Effect 3 but doesn’t provide much more than was already known.
An expanded ending for Mass Effect 3. Additional scenes and an extended epilogue reveal the impact of Shepard’s choices on the future of the galaxy.
He did however confirm that the “Extended Cut” DLC is now complete for whatever that is worth. He wasn’t able to provide a timeline on the release of either pack, but did note that they will be two separate expansions. As of this point, none of this info has been confirmed by Bioware but the tone of the descriptions sounds accurate and the guy has been very accurate before so make your own conclusions. Lots of folks have been clamoring for more single player DLC but Bioware froze all development on that to complete the Extended Cut DLC so at this point its anyone’s guess as to when or even if we will actually get more single player DLC for Mass Effect 3. That’s all we have for now, hit up the comments and let us know what you think about the Mass Effect 3: Earth DLC? Would you rather see single player DLC or all this multiplayer DLC?
