Like myself, many have kept one eye open for anything Grand Theft Auto related. So here we are! According to a leaked CV of a Rockstar North employee found on the GTANetwork by OXM, the sandbox title Grand Theft Auto V, could be released as soon as October, and supposedly, a more in-depth trailer could also be on the way.
The CV belongs to Joylon Orme, who is the lead vehicle artist on Grand Theft Auto 5 – a very important job by all means. However, Orme isn’t the first employee at Rockstar to suggest the game will release in October. Back in April, Alex O’Dwyer, another employee who works as an animator for the publisher, also had October as a mentioned release date in his CV.
Fan site GTANetwork went dark yesterday following the CV leak and all signs point to Rockstar Games using that legal muscle to shut down the website, which at this point is simple damage control by the publisher. With two employee CV’s having the same release date, you could see it as a possibility. However, we can only suggest you taking this with a “pinch of salt”.
As it stands, the closest we have come to any solid release date for Grand Theft Auto V was in the Take-Two financial report, which suggested GTA 5 would release late 2012 or early 2013.
