Dead Space 3 Confirmed, To Be Unveiled At E3

Electronic Arts has revealed to IGN that Dead Space 3 is indeed real and in development. The long-rumored third installment will be further unveiled at E3 2012 next week, with the publisher promising to show some footage from the action-horror title during their press conference.

Dead Space 3, which is expected to be developed by Visceral Games, has seen a lot of rumors about the games plot and setting find its way around the web. With Siliconera revealing a hefty amount of details ( Major Spoilers ) about the horror title a few months back, everyone knew they would eventually be stepping into Issac Clarke’s shoes again. EA is looking forward to showing gamers Dead Space 3 and recently said:
We’re excited to unveil Dead Space 3 to the world at the EA press conference next week.

One of the rumors that caught people’s attention was the possibility of the game having a co-op feature. Electronic Arts released a short graphic novel recently which introduced a new character by the name of John Carver, who is rumored to be a possible co-op partner. Taking recent leaked screenshots into consideration, co-op’s addition to the franchise looks more certain.

The game is a part of the list blockbusters EA will be unveiling at E3, so expect a lot of details to flow through in the coming week. Electronic Arts will be holding their press conference at E3 on June 4th at 1.00pm. Not long to wait now people!
