We are already well into the cycle of Skyrim, since the game was released last November, we have slashed and burned our way to victory over many a foe. Now the masses call for Downloadable Content and Bethesda Studios has answered with the announcement of “Dawnguard” earlier in the month. However, another DLC might be in the works as parent company ZeniMax filed a Skyrim-related trademark this week entitled, “Hearth Fire.”
Along with two other trademarks ZeniMax filed ,”Fus Do Rah” and “Dragonborn, all of them have a connection to the franchises lore. Hearth Fire has more than one however, “2920, vol 09 – Hearth Fire” is the title of one of the many skill books the character can collect in the game, it’s also the name given to one of the autumn months in Tamriel’s calendar. Not much is confirming this as DLC, but Zenimax has very few other reasons to trademark the name.
The DLC expansion we do know about “Dawnguard” got an official trailer released today. Skyrim has a timed exclusivity agreement with Microsoft for a least two DLC expansions, so even if Hearth Fire isn’t the next DLC offering, one will be on the way.
