The next title in the popular EA series Need For Speed has been announced. According to IGN, in a recent booth schedule released by Twitch Tv, Need for Speed: Most Wanted was listed as one of the games that will grace E3 2012. Along with that, other rumors suggest the game is to be released in November, with a trailer and official website to be shown soon.

The original Need for Speed: Most Wanted graced screens back in 2005, developed by EA Canada, the game saw you racing in Rockport City against underground racers, going undercover helping the police take down the notorious blacklist. With free roam game play and plenty of cops trying to bust you, the game was met with positive reviews and led to two sequels, Need for Speed: Carbon and Need for Speed: World.

When E3 kicks off, Most Wanted is expected to be shown along with upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC and survival horror Dead Space 3. Criterion Games who are rumored to be at the helm the project, also developed Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit back in 2010, which was met with fantastic reviews, so we know the racer will be in experienced hands.

We will certainly find out more about Most Wanted and a bundle of other titles at EA’s E3 press conference, which will happen Monday, June 4th at 1:00 p.m. PST.

When not fighting crime, I dabble in the art of online journalism. Alright, maybe it's not as exciting as headbutting everyday felons like a modern Bruce Wayne, but I need something that doesn't involve bludgeoning something. Get my kicks playing on a fat 80gb PS3, really need an upgrade......and a shave.
