The internet storm over Mass Effect 3’s ending continues to rumble on, with the “Extended Cut” DLC for the game due out this summer. Personally, I am waiting to see what happens before taking the plunge into purchasing and playing the game – so avoid any spoilers in the comments section please! News surrounding the content of the new ending is tighter than Ashley’s jumpsuit, however some recent interview and Twitter activity has at least indicated who will be a part of it.

The voice of Admiral Hackett, Lance Henriksen, told G4TV; “I just did another session with them… They were saying there’s a little bit of a problem with the abruptness of the ending. So we did a whole series of things to add to the end of the game, to live up to the quality they’ve been doing.”

The voices of both ship computer EDI and Kaiden Alenko also confirmed via Twitter that they were recording some scenes. Oh well Alenko, you wont be heard in my playthrough, because I KILLED YOU. Ahem, sorry about that. In a battle of the backsides between him and Ashley Williams, the biotic dude was never going to come out on top.
