With recent indications that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance may be pushed to a 2013 release date, disappointment for fans set in quick. To shine some happiness through that dull cloud of sadness, series creator Hideo Kojima announced via his Twitter account recently, that footage of the demo for the upcoming game will be shown before the E3 expo next month.
Kojima also recently released an image through twitter which shows the game’s protagonist Raiden on the demo start screen. The series creator called the image, Black/Dark Raiden, as to why it was called this he said: “I can’t say much beyond this, but why he’s ‘Black/Dark Raiden’ is a secret.”
With the released image getting such a massive response from fans, Kojima pushed for permission to release footage before the upcoming Expo in Los Angeles. This will surely get fans interested in the game once again, as many have lost faith with the never-ending delays the game has gone through since its announcement.
Hideo also stated that anyone seeking more details should ask Metal Gear Rising producer Yuji Korekado on his twitter account @Korekado_Yuji. If you understand Japanese text then you shouldn’t have a problem.
