The recent Ghost Recon Future Solider beta testing turned out to be a massive success, with over 600,000 players taking to it like a fish to water and joining the action in the futuristic shooter. A turn-out developers Ubisoft no doubt will be happy with.
To show how successful and also how important the beta testing was, gaming website MP1st retrieved some interesting statistics from the beta.
- Over 600,000 players
- 1.706,013 hours played
- 9,816,310 data hacks
- 3,021,628,150 bullets shot
- 99,474,068 kills
- 2,387,377 melee kills
- 16,101,688 long-range kills
- 3,040 level -50 players
Some outstanding stats for a beta test that only lasted a short period of time, a interesting statistic was the average player lifespan, which only accumulated to 54 seconds, a bit low for a stealth game don’t you think. But hey it is multiplayer.
The game. which is a more futuristic taste on the Ghost Recon series, takes place in the near future were a dirty bomb has taken out a Ghost team. Another Ghost team is then tasked with tracking down the source of the dirty bomb in a range of Countries from Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia and Norway. Sounds like a solid single player, also you have the never ending multiplayer to play with.
Ubisoft released a short video thanking ever single player who participated in the beta, it can be viewed below. Ghost Recon will be making its way to stores tomorrow for North American fans, with a release date in Europe set for the 25th of May.
